Online Beginner Driver Education (30 Hours Fully Digital)

The MTO-approved Online Beginner Driver Education (BDE) Program (Ontario) is an alternative method of delivery for the in-classroom training, using digital features and capabilities of a Learning Management System (LMS). This is not an elimination of the current in-classroom delivery, rather, an additional/optional method of delivery. Our mission is to make life safe and easy for Ontarians, starting with a simpler, faster, and better delivery of Beginner Driver Education across the province by moving to the "digital age".

You will complete the 30 hours of online and self-paced course here and 10 hours of in-car lessons with your driving school. Then, you'll be certified by MTO. That will make you eligible to take the G2 Road Test 4 months earlier and to get a discount on your insurance.
